What you need to get
- Tripod
- Camera
- Variety of lenses (wide, mid range and telephoto)
- ND filters (if you’re into them)
- A remote trigger ( you want to avoid blurring your images)
- Drone if you have one (get some amazing views of the village from up)
- Wear comfy clothing and flip flops (barefoot makes it easier to walk on sand)
What you need to know
The Al Madam village is an abandoned village consisting of two identical rows of houses and a mosque at the end. Th village is an hour drive away and located in Sharjah close to the border of Oman.
This is a perfect example of how nature is greater to mankind. The houses stand still but is filled with sand up to the ceiling.
This is photography tour is private and so it will just be you or your group and myself there to guide you.
Disclaimer
In case the weather is not friendly or is too windy, it is best to cancel the tour for safety reasons. The desert sand is very fine and can be dangerous when it gets too windy.
