A rooftop isn’t always necessary to capture the skyline and building in Dubai. If searched for, there are many spots that give interesting perspectives. But you do need the right lens for that.

I spent the last week doing the same allowing me to expand my architecture photography portfolio.

This image of the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, designed by Arch Group Consultants, was shot from the part of the Sheikh Zayed Road that goes above the canal. Glad they have a walkway here. Several exposures were taken to clone out the cars in the final image.
